MAIS is now the part of the ITS Help Desk

In an effort to more seamlessly respond to IT-related inquiries, ITS created the ITS Help Desk. The new help desk integrates 4-HELP, Administrative (MAIS) Help Desk, and Accounts Office.

Support for MAIS software is provided by the ITS HelpDesk, which can be contacted at 764-HELP (764-4357), option 4.


Business Objects

BusinessObjects Web Intelligence (WebI) is the supported query and reporting tool used to access the University of Michigan (UM) Data Warehouse. BusinessObjects can process UM-maintained reports as well as run ad hoc reports. BusinessObjects WebI interfaces (also known as universes) have been developed for all data in the UM Data Warehouse, which includes data sets from M-Pathways systems, Legacy systems, and the Development/Alumni Constituency (DAC) system.


Document Imaging Services at U-M

MAIS Document Imaging Services provides complete, centralized document imaging and management services. These services include scanning paper documents and filing images in a secure environment for electronic retrieval, as well as paper document retention and/or destruction services. Technical support is also available if you want to scan your own documents.

ImageNow and WebNow: Imaging Software at U-M

The U-M centralized document imaging system uses ImageNow and WebNow software.

  • ImageNow is used to scan printed documents and store them as electronic documents in a secure online environment.
  • WebNow is used to retrieve electronic documents that were created using ImageNow.
