The DAC Executive Information System (EIS) is used by the Development Office and fund raisers across the University to access development data residing in the Data Warehouse via a Graphical User Interface (GUI). The software is provided and supported by the university's Development Services group, part of the University of Michigan Development Community.
In order to work properly, a user must be an administrator on the computer being used to install DAC EIS.
Administrator privileges are not needed to run the software, but are required for the initial installation.
Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) replaced Citrix (M-Pathways and DAC EIS Remote Access) for connecting to virtual desktops.
Users of DAC EIS who previously used Citrix to connect and have logged in since January 2011 should automatically have access to connect with VMware View Client. If you are unable to log in or need assistance with your UMROOT (Windows Active Directory) password, contact the ITS Service Center (764-HELP).
